We strive to provide compassionate care and exceptional veterinary medicine to each of our animal patients, and active support to their owners.
History
Red Star Veterinary Services began in 2010 when Dr. Trish Pugh started a large animal practice. The business expanded to include small animal patients when associate veterinarians joined the practice. Red Star moved to its current location in 2014. The large red building previously housed a driving range and ice cream shop.
Dr. Trish is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is certified in acupuncture and spinal manipulation, and treats both large and small patients. Red Star’s extraordinary team also includes other great veterinarians, registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and office staff. Meet the team!
Community
We love our local community and strongly believe in providing educational opportunities for all ages. Red Star offers yearly educational seminars, clinics and youth vet camps. We also host two summer college externships annually, and encourage internships from local colleges and universities. One of our favorite activities is the annual Live Nativity hosted in December.
